Two more days and I'll finally have a day off again! Six days of holiday retail without a break, blah. Thankfully, there are people quitting left and right, all for different reasons (moving, new job, etc), so there should definitely be a spot for me when the holidays are over. ^^ And I get paid on Friday, woot!
I've decided to venture into the world of animation and try my hand at making a flash cartoon. I've had an AMV in mind for Avatar: The Last Airbender (yes, I'm still an Avatard) that I've been wanting to do, but the sort of shots I want to include aren't anywhere in the show. So, I'm going to try to animate them myself. :D I've downloaded Flash CS3, which is old school, but should do just fine, and I've been reading Flash animation tutorials online during my lunch break (hooray for iPhones!), so I should be able to start work on this on my next day off. ^^ I'm excited to tackle something completely new. There's also this Trinity Blood AMV I've been wanting to do, but again, I'd need to animate most of it myself since it's sort of AU.

Dad and I just spent some time outside watching the Geminids. It was really nice. We saw some really nice meteors and talked about physics and stuff. It was great. Dad and I always have a really good time when we watch meteor showers, it's sort of our own father/daughter bonding ritual. ^^
If you can catch the Geminids tonight, it's really making a good showing, and should be getting better as the night goes on. :D

I've just realized something about myself...I only draw well when I'm stressed out. O.o It's weird, but it makes sense. When I'm stressed, it's usually about money, therefore I can't even look at fabric without wondering what else I'll have to buy to finish a project. Drawing just requires me to sit down at the computer or with a pad of paper and doodle. It's free.
I was drawing just fine this past week until I got my paycheck and paid my bills. Now I can't think of a single thing to draw. :p Silly, I know, but there it is.
Of course, now I'm back down to $5 in my bank account, so maybe I'll be drawing again shortly. :p

In other news, I just saw pictures of myself from Pat's Christmas Party, and I am officially a blimp. Ugh. I need to get back on the Lean Cuisine.

I was goofing around yesterday. Plus one I have yet to post.
